Remus Lupin

In Loving Memory of Remus
Gotcha Date: September 18, 2025 – June 26, 2026

Remus, affectionately known as Sweet Girl and Squeaky, may have been accidentally acquired, but there was nothing accidental about the love she brought into the lives of those around her. From the moment she joined her family on September 18, 2025, she filled every day with joy, laughter, and countless precious memories.

Remus was deeply loved by her pet parents, Val and Jake, and shared her home with five rat brothers, one dog sister, and one cat sister. Despite her tiny size, she had a big personality and an even bigger place in her family’s hearts.

One of Remus’s favorite places in the world was tucked safely inside her mom’s shirt, where she would happily hide while chores were being done, enjoying the warmth and comfort of being close. She also loved tailgating adventures and never missed an opportunity to enjoy the excitement of being with her family.

A lover of simple pleasures, Remus delighted in treats like cereal puffs, oatmeal, and carrots. Her family especially cherished watching her hold her treats in her tiny little hands as she ate, a sight that never failed to bring smiles and melt hearts.

Among the many treasured memories of Remus are the day her family discovered that their little companion was actually a girl, the fun of tailgating together, and creating a paw print impression so special that it was forever honored with a tattoo—a beautiful reminder that love leaves permanent marks on our hearts.

Though Remus’s time here was far too short, the love she shared was immeasurable. She taught her family that the smallest creatures can leave the biggest paw prints on our hearts. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Run free, Sweet Girl. May your days be filled with endless treats, cozy places to snuggle, and all the love you brought to this world returned to you many times over.
