Charlie Tisdale

In Loving Memory of Charlie Tisdale
October 6, 2015— June 3, 2026

Charlie Tisdale, lovingly known as Mr. Charles, Bro Charles, Charchar, and Buddy, was a loyal, gentle soul whose greatest joy was simply being with the people he loved.

Deeply cherished by his parents, Eric and Cindy Tisdale, Charlie shared his life with his beloved siblings Bella and Baby (Sissy) and held a special bond with Erica. He was the kind of dog who made everyone feel loved, and his family was always at the center of his world.

Charlie treasured a small black-and-white stuffed dog, carrying it everywhere after his beloved sissy passed away. It became a comforting reminder of the bond they shared and was one of his most treasured possessions.

His favorite place was wherever Dad was. Whether helping around the house, camping with Mom and Dad, or proudly “babysitting” the grandchildren, Charlie wanted nothing more than to be included. He especially loved curling up for naps with the grandbabies and greeting every visitor with a happy heart and wagging tail.

At night, Charlie’s favorite place to sleep was right between Mom and Dad, where he felt safe, loved, and exactly where he belonged.

He never turned down a good meal, especially weenies or whatever someone else happened to be eating. But more than food, Charlie hungered for time with his family, soaking up every moment together.

One of Charlie’s most remarkable gifts was his ability to sense when someone wasn’t feeling well—often before anyone else realized it. Without hesitation, he would quietly stay by their side, offering comfort, companionship, and the unconditional love that only a devoted dog can give.

Charlie wasn’t just a pet; he was a protector, a comforter, a camping buddy, and a faithful friend. His gentle spirit and unwavering love touched every life he encountered.

Though there is now an emptiness where Charlie once stood, his love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Run free, sweet Mr. Charles. May there be endless camping adventures, cozy naps, plenty of weenies, and all the love your heart can hold. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of your family. You will always be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. 🐾🤍
