Jocelynn Combies

In Loving Memory of Jocelynn Combies
September 2009 — June 14, 2026

Jocelynn Combies, affectionately known as Silly, Mush Mushy, and Catzilla, was a tiny kitten who grew into a one-of-a-kind cat with an unforgettable personality. She filled her family’s home with laughter, love, and just the right amount of mischief for nearly seventeen wonderful years.

Born in Connecticut, Jocelynn was deeply loved by her parents, Kim and Mike Combies, her human brother Cody, and her feline sister Sable. She is now reunited with her beloved pet brothers, Nakota and Cooper, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge before her.

Jocelynn loved life on her own terms. She could often be found batting around her favorite fake mice, tormenting her brothers just because she could, or causing absolute chaos in Mom’s Christmas Village, where she proudly “terrorized the villagers” every holiday season. Her playful antics kept everyone smiling and made every Christmas a little more memorable.

When it was time to rest, there was only one place she truly wanted to be—curled up on Mom. No matter what was happening, Jocelynn found comfort in being close to the person she loved most.

She had a refined palate, too. Temptations treats were always welcome, but she also had a taste for coffee ice cream, French fries, popcorn, and every morning she made sure Mom knew it was time for her beloved whole milk. Two-percent simply wasn’t acceptable for a girl with standards like hers.

Some of the family’s favorite memories capture exactly who Jocelynn was. They remember the tiny kitten who was so small she could fit in Mike’s hand the day they brought her home. They laugh about the time she proudly tossed a real mouse across the living room while Mom and the dog watched in complete surprise. They’ll always treasure finding Jocelynn and Nakota snuggled together in a crate, and they’ll never forget her morning “conversations” demanding her milk before anyone else’s day could begin.

Jocelynn wasn’t just a cat—she was a character, a comedian, a cuddle bug, and an irreplaceable member of the family. She lived life boldly, loved deeply, and left behind countless memories that will continue to bring smiles for years to come.

Run free, sweet Silly. May there be endless treats, plenty of whole milk, fake mice to chase, Christmas villages to explore, and your beloved Nakota and Cooper waiting by your side. Thank you for every laugh, every cuddle, and every unforgettable moment. There truly will never be another one quite like you. 🐾🤍🐱
