In Loving Memory of Bubba Bennett

Bubba Bennett, lovingly known as Bubby and Bubba Gump, was a sweet and devoted boy who brought nearly 14 years of love, laughter, and companionship to his family. Born in York, South Carolina, Bubba found his forever home with his parents, David and Nicole, on December 21, 2012.
Bubba shared his life with his human siblings, Chase and Shawn, and his feline siblings, Fluffy and Mittens. He had such a gentle heart with the cats and would even groom them and love on them, showing just how caring and affectionate he could be.
His favorite toy was his Santa stuffy, but one of Bubba’s greatest joys was chasing leaves. Raking the yard became much more entertaining when Bubba was around because he loved running through the piles of leaves as quickly as they were made. His family will also always smile remembering his wild zoomies after bathtime and the peaceful walks they shared by the river.
Bubba loved his steak bites, but nothing compared to being close to his family. At bedtime, his favorite place was snuggled under the covers next to their legs, warm, comfortable, and exactly where he belonged.
The little routines that once seemed so ordinary—leaf piles, post-bath zoomies, river walks, and Bubba curled beneath the covers—are now some of the memories his family will treasure most.
