In Loving Memory of Casper Greenslade

Casper Greenslade, lovingly known as Buddy, Caspie, Fat Head, Gillicuty, Pretty Boy, and Big Guy, was a devoted companion whose big brown eyes and gentle soul filled his family’s home with love. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Casper was deeply cherished by his parents, Chelsy and Basil, and shared his life with his sibling, Astro.
Casper loved just about every toy he could get his paws on—ropes, squeaky toys, stuffed animals, blankets, and balls were all favorites. He enjoyed car rides, long walks, sunbathing, being chased, and, most importantly, cuddling with his family. At the end of the day, there was nowhere he would rather sleep than right in his humans’ bed.
When it came to food, Casper was happy with almost anything—as long as it wasn’t a fruit or vegetable!
But what Chelsy and Basil will miss most is simply Casper’s presence. His soulful brown eyes, the love he carried with him every day, and the way he faithfully greeted his family at the door made coming home something special. Those familiar greetings became part of the rhythm of their lives and will forever be one of their most treasured memories.
Casper wasn’t just waiting at the door—he was waiting for the people he loved most. Though that familiar spot may now feel painfully empty, the love behind those beautiful brown eyes will remain with his family always.
