In Loving Memory of Tanner Sisk
June 5, 2011 β October 8, 2026
Tanner Sisk, lovingly known as Tan-Man, was a sweet, happy boy who never met a stranger. Born in Kershaw, South Carolina, on June 5, 2011, Tanner joined his forever family on July 30, 2011. For more than 15 wonderful years, he filled the lives of his parents, Daniel and Michelle Sisk, his human brother, Danny Ray, and his feline sibling, Chino, with unconditional love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Tanner had a personality that could brighten anyone’s day. He absolutely loved people and believed that everyone he met should love him right back! Whether he was greeting someone new or spending time with his family, Tanner always had a way of making everyone feel special.
He loved fetching his ball, going for car rides, and enjoying adventures on the boat. Some of his happiest moments were spent traveling with his family to their farm in Kentucky and their mountain cabin near Table Rock. Tanner would get so excited about these adventures that he would jump straight up and down, lifting all four paws off the ground! His excitement was contagious, and those happy little jumps will forever bring smiles to his family’s faces.
Tanner also knew how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. He loved bacon and was especially talented at stealing whatever food he could manage to get from Danny Ray. At the end of a busy day, his favorite place to rest was on a rug in Danny Ray’s bedroom, where he could be close to the family he adored.
Through every adventure, every car ride, and every quiet moment at home, Tanner was more than just a pet. He was a loyal companion, a beloved family member, and a constant source of happiness.
Although his family would give anything for one more excited jump, one more game of fetch, or one more adventure together, they will forever treasure the beautiful life they shared with their Tan-Man.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever their sweet Tan-Man. πΎπ€
