Teddy Hannon

In Loving Memory of Teddy Hannon

February 2018 — October 25, 2026

Teddy Hannon, lovingly known as Teddy Bear Roosevelt, was a little boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Weighing just six pounds, Teddy may have been small, but his love, loyalty, and determination to protect his family were larger than life. He was deeply cherished by his mama, Amanda, dad, Jason, and human siblings, Samantha, Marshall, and Addy, along with his furry siblings, Fancy and Hazel.

Teddy never needed fancy toys to keep himself entertained. In fact, he had a special love for clean laundry! He also loved showing off his talents, especially jumping, spinning, and sitting pretty. He would happily perform just about any trick Samantha asked of him, especially when a tasty treat was involved. And when it came to food, Teddy believed that whatever his family was eating, he deserved at least a little nibble too!

Teddy truly believed he was one of the family, and no one could have convinced him otherwise. His mama would rock him to sleep, and if Dad was watching a ball game, Teddy was right there watching along with him. His favorite place to sleep was Samantha’s bed, where he could be close to someone he loved.

One of the sweetest things about Teddy was how deeply connected he was to his family. He always seemed to know when Samantha and Marshall were coming home from school. Even after they grew up and joined the military, Teddy never forgot them. He recognized their voices over the phone and would become so happy just hearing them. And whenever Addy had a snack, Teddy was never far away, looking up at her with those irresistible puppy-dog eyes.

As Teddy grew older, he developed the personality of a grumpy little old man. He wasn’t particularly fond of loud noises or strangers, but that was perfectly fine with him. Teddy had his people, and their love was all he ever needed. He remained their fierce little six-pound protector, always watching over the family he adored.

For eight wonderful years, Teddy filled his home with laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. He wasn’t just a dog—he was a son, a brother, a loyal companion, and a treasured part of every family moment.

Although his family will deeply miss his little tricks, his cuddles, and his larger-than-life personality, they will forever carry the love of their precious Teddy Bear Roosevelt in their hearts.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever their little six-pound protector, Teddy Bear. 🐾🤍
