CAMDEN- Layla Bowers, 13, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 29, 2021. Layla joined the Bowers family in 2008.
Layla was a beagle who enjoyed chasing squirrels and playing with rope toys. Her favorite treat was peanut butter. She lived with her pet parent, Joe Bowers III in Myrtle Beach, S.C. from 2008 – 2011. After moving back home from college, Layla moved in with her pet grandparents, Joe Bowers, Jr. and Tammy Bowers, in Camden where she lived out the rest of her days.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Joe and Tammy Bowers, Jr. and Joe and Sy Bowers III; uncle, Tyler Bowers; and fur-siblings, Huck and Tilly.
