LUGOFF – Desi Wilson, 15, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2022. Born in 2006, he was adopted by the Wilson family in 2009 from Arkansas out of doggie foster care from a wonderful woman named Dot who cared for him until his adoption. Desi was a Golden Retriever.
Desi, also known as Des, was born in Arkansas. He loved going to the dog park, going on walks and sleeping. Desi’s favorite toy was his stuffed buffalo and he loved eating bones.
Desi leaves behind his fur brothers, Benson and Rocco; fur sister, Missy; human father and mother, Brian and Stephanie Wilson; human brothers, Michael Ballas, Jordan Ballas, Joshua Wilson and human sister, Caitlin Gallivan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his fur brother, Duke and fur kitty, Charlie.

Desi came to me as a stray. He was a joy to foster and it was very hard to adopt him out as I grew to love him, but we must adopt out our fosters so that we can foster more. I found 2 wonderful people to adopt him, Brian and Stephanie Wilson. They loved him greatly and he had a wonderful long life. I enjoyed all the updates on Desi that they sent me over the years. Rest In Peace Desi. ❤️
Desi will be missed he was such a loving dog. Now he is with his brothers in heaven. Rest in peace Desi.
