BB Bogstad

BOWMAN – BB Bogstad passed away on May 16, 2022. Left abandoned at a church parsonage, BB became part of the Bogstad family in August 2017 and never left thier side or the church grounds. BB was a Black lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix.

BB, also known as “Girlie,” always had a toy or a stick in her mouth. She had hundreds of stuffed toys and loved them like her doggie treats. Some of BB’s favorite activity’s included being with family and children, supervising yard work, keeping watch over the house, her family and church grounds. She loved breakfast, snack-time and jumping in the ditch. People food was her favorite treats and her most favorite was french fries.

BB was LeAnnes devoted companion. God brought her to them when LeAnne was first learning to walk again after many leg surgeries. BB was strong and devoted to her family. She had a love for children and loved supervising her family as they did their church duties and yard work. She loved walking with Jim to church, she loved walking with the boys or chasing them on a 4 wheeler.  She never left her families side. Always loving. Her family has always said.. Everyone should be like BB.  She grew tired & stayed longer than she should just because she loved them that much. An angel & gift from God,  only now to return to HIM.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, LeAnne and Jim Bogstad, and siblings Holton, Harrison,Hannah and her husband Fernando, Caroline and her family.

“Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.” Psalms 36:6

    1. BB was a gift from God in a time when hope and happiness were greatly needed. She put a smile on everyone’s face with her saggy tounge and goofy gait. We loved her so much and will always have her as a part of our happiest memories! We are deeply saddened but know that she’s laying in a pile of French fries and chew toys in doggy heaven. We love you BB. Forever and Always πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—
