Zippy Blewer

EASTOVER- Zippy Blewer, 13, passed away on August 6, 2022. Born in Walterboro, SC on August 14, 2008, she was predeceased by her mother, Nina B. Blewer.

Zippy, also known as “Zippy-roo” or “Baby,” enjoyed cleaning her momma, Nina, face while being held and watching TV.  Her favorite toys were her Bear and Coon and she loved KFC chicken and Mac & Cheese. She loved to sleep with her momma, Nina, and then with her adopted parents and under momma’s entertainment center.

Left to cherish her memories are her adoptive parents, Ryan & Yvonne Wilson; siblings, Anita B. Bowers (Donald); fur-siblings, Xena Wilson; and adopted siblings, Joshua and Donavan Wilson and adopted fur-siblings, Isis, Romeo, Juliet and Herra. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a fur-siblings, Champy Blewer and a fur-cousin, Hoover Bowers.

Here are some favorite memories of Zippy:

Anita-Giving momma hugs and Zippy trying to eat us up but we were too quick for her to get us. Me toting her around when I was over visiting or doing stuff for momma. Licking my nose to give me her loves and no kisses on the nose when she wasn’t quite so happy with me.

Yvonne-When we would sit in the den watching TV after supper she always wanted me to hold her. I would love on her & pet her some, then we would play fight. She’d call for momma to help her.  Also if she wanted to be picked up but you ignored her she would sit in front of you, spin around her her butt & tell you off. It was so funny!

  2. Our thoughts and prayers, are with you and the family.🙏❤️I remember, trying to give Nina a hug, you’d have to do it, when Zippy wasn’t looking, or she’d nip you.😀 She loved Nina and protected her. Rest in Peace, Zippy, with Nina!🙏🌈💕

    1. Thank you! Glad you shared a memory! Yes, Zippy was very protective of Momma. She would even act that way with all the family. One would distract her while the other got a quick hug!
