Lucy, beloved pig of Cotton Branch Farm Rescue, passed away Wednesday, November 16 , 2022.
Lucy came to us after she wandered up to a neighborhood with her umbilical cord still attached. We have no idea what happened to her mom and family, but she was rescued by a kind family, and came to live with us at the sanctuary.
She was an angel and sweetheart from the start! She was energetic and playful, loving and curious, and loved playing and interacting with her human and pig friends. She was always ready for a hug and a belly rub.
Lucy touched so many lives in her time with us, and she lived every moment of her life to the fullest. She leaves behind her best friend TJ, and she leaves a hole in our hearts, where we will forever hold her. Fly high sweet baby, you will forever be our angel.
