SUMTER- Dough Jarrett, 11, passed away on February 18, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, N.C. on November 15, 2011.
Doug, also known as “Doug Dog,” was not a real fetch type dog, but loved hikes, digging in the sand at the beach and the “ boxer burn” around the yard. His favorite snack was definitely string cheese and anything with peanut butter and his favorite place to sleep was curled up on the couch next to anyone.
Left to cherish his memory are his parent, Joann Jarrett; human family, Amber and Casey; and fur-sibling, Rizzo.
One of the families favorite memory is of Doug “singing” back to them as they sang to him.
