Lugoff, SC – Deringer Burris, 9yrs, passed away on February 16, 2023. Deringer was born on May 25, 2013, in Lugoff, South Carolina.
Deringer, also more commonly known as “Dary” was full of life and loved creating memories with family that will last forever. She enjoyed playing and rolling around in the grass. She relished playing with her favorite sock monkey and sleeping in everyone else’s bed except her own. She liked to keep things simple when it came to her favorite types of food and savored only the finest of ice cream, chicken nuggies, and a cold bowl of milk.
Some of the Burriss’ family favorite memories of Dary are watching her experience snow for the first time and catching gnarly waves at the beach. She was a legend in her own time, creating a story the family will remember always. She was caught “red handed” as she sat ever so satisfied in a chair and devoured an entire rotisserie chicken at the dining table. Deringer is survived by her fur siblings Tyler, Dabi, Nova, Reid, Raven, Kenai, Scooby, Charlotte, Hotch, Zuko, River, Duke, and Tiana; her human Grandparents Johnnie and Wendy Burriss, Aunt Samantha Burriss, and Mother Katherine Burriss.
