COLUMBIA- Shemar Rice, 6, passed away on June 28, 2023. Shemar was born on June 17, 2017 in Columbia.
Shemar enjoyed climbing on his mom’s shoulders while she was getting ready for work, playing with bags and boxes, and sleeping on his mom’s side. He loved to visit his Pet Friend Vet on Clemson Road. He loved them which was unusual for him. Shemar hated getting his nose wiped, which had to happen often because of his upper respiratory illness .
Left to cherish his memory are his mom, Teresa Rice; and fur-siblings, Jasper the dog and Dewy the cat. Shemar was his mom’s number 1 cat and is greatly missed.
