Pepper Clair

LUGOFF- Pepper passed away August 20, 2023. Her mom has had her since October 19, 2011.

Pepper, also known as “Princess Pepper Pie,” “Love Sponge,” “Angel Face,” or “Honey Buns,” loved her stuffed bunny, stuffed unicorn, and Kong toys filled with peanut butter. When she wasn’t playing with her toys, you could usually find her napping in bed with her Mom, Amber. She was known to be a bed hog.

Pepper was so full of life and bubbly that she enjoyed everything she did, but she especially loved going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, playing with Carmen, going for walks, and cuddling with absolutely everyone. She was Grandpa’s cooking buddy, and she also enjoyed meeting new people and animals – including but not limited to: puppies, cats, hedgehogs, and turtles.

Her favorite human foods were steak and cantaloupe.

Some of her mom’s favorite memories of her include the Christmas ornament incident, which was more fun for Pepper than it was for anyone else, but she seemed to enjoy herself; her Uncle Joseph and Aunt Lindy saved her from being in trouble. Pepper also watched over and took care of her Aunt Stephanie when she was sick. Some other favorite memories include watching Pepper’s face light up and how excited she was when she first met Carmen, bowling in the snow, and how she loved everyone she ever met; Pepper didn’t know a stranger.

Left to cherish her memory is her Mom, Amber; siblings, Carmen and Pixie. Along with her Grandma, Grandpa, aunts and uncles, and the amazing staff at Veterinary Medicine & Surgery.

  2. Rest peacefully beautiful girl. You were so loved by your mommy Amber. We will look after her and hold her up in prayer and love!

  3. My heart aches for you my dear daughter. I know Pepper loved you as much as you loved her. I hope you can find peace in knowing you will see her again someday.

  4. To live fondly in the memory of others is a measure of how much we were loved. The Princess achieved this very, very easily and it’s only natural that her passing will leave a huge void. If the coming together of two individuals ever brought each other happiness then it was Amber and PPP.

  5. To be remembered fondly by those who remain is the greatest legacy we can leave. The Princess has left many, many fond memories in the hearts and minds of those she met. No one could ask any more of her.

  6. Rest in peace, good girl. I know you and your mom got to enjoy twelve amazing years together. May those memories carry her through as she waits to meet you again someday across the rainbow bridge.
