Zen Roberts

WINNSBORO- Zen was born February 26, 2018, and adopted by his parents on October 14, 2018. He passed away October 9, 2023.

Zen, also known as “Wildman,” and “Big Boy,” loved to play with his mom’s gloves. She couldn’t keep them on around him because he loved the red fastener on them.

Whenever it was bedtime, his favorite place to sleep was in the stall with his brother, Bud. They were inseparable during bedtime, and he always took up for his brother, he never let anyone bother him.

Zen’s favorite snacks were oyster crackers and saltines.

His parents had many memories of Zen, but some of their favorites were him pulling on the back of hid mom’s shirt to get her attention, she will truly miss that. He would also try to “help” when his parents were fixing something by taking the tools and them having to chase him down to get them back. They would have to try and keep him away as he would try to un-fix whatever they were fixing. The fence was his number one target.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Phillip and Tracey Roberts; brother, Bud; and siblings, Pascoe, Salley, Oreo, Bounce, Juliet and Spring.
