Max Lange

Max was found on July 31, 2010, in Buffalo, NY. He passed away December 11, 2023.

Max, also known as “Buddy,” or “Macaroni” loved eating, sleeping, and stealing his sister, Goldie’s, food. He also loved being outside and going for walks. His favorite place to sleep was on the bed or anywhere his mom was, he was always at her feet.

Max loved to eat apples, beef jerky, bacon, and his all time favorite was spaghetti with just a little bit of meat sauce!

When Max wasn’t eating or sleeping he loved to play with his lambchop, he went through a dozen! He wasn’t happy until the stuffing and squeaker were pulled out.  He also enjoyed the special Pet Smart charity animal that was the same size as him.  And lastly, although not a toy, he had a routine of going after his mom’s socks before bed and wanted to play tug of war with them.  When he got tired of that he would cry and whine if his lambchop wasn’t on the bed at night.

Favorite memories with Max, there are so many. The day his dad found him at the Masten St. Armory is the best, it was the beginning of all their adventures to come.

They camped with Max and his sisters all through the summer where he could run free and play. He loved adventure, going for rides in the car. Taking him traveling with me, even on an airplane. His mom especially LOVED the way he hopped like a rabbit when he was excited, when we got home and always seemed to swing his front legs when he was walking fast and then he would hop into the house!  His mom will miss him, and his antics as long as she lives.

Max was Tina and Kevin’s furbaby, his grandma lived with them and she was grandma to him, her name is Sandy

His current siblings are Lulu, and Goldie.

He also had Dexter, Kiesha and Tweety (parakeet) who predeceased him.  He also has a cousin who visited him often, a dog Lucky. He was visited occasionally by his mom’s Dad and stepmom’s dog Tucker. Max truly loved everyone except squirrels.

  1. Max found me at the Masten St. Armory durrung our pre mob to Iraq. He kept his mamma safe while I was gone. I called him Drama because when he wanted your attention he’d wine and bark jumping at your leg till he got it. I’ll miss Max time. Scratches and neck rubs Tull he was sou d asleep in my arms cradled like a baby. A lion in a lap dogs body with a travelers soul. Our paths will cross again Buddy and you will find me again.. Thank you for every snuggle every smile, even when I wasn’t in the mood to smile… Even in our darkest hour, God is good. Thank you lord for sharing this messenger of love…
