Emma Lane

Emma was adopted by her parents from Low Country Animal Rescue in Summerville, SC, on May 25, 2013. She passed away December 29, 2023.

Emma, also known as “Baby Dog,” or “Emma Dog,” loved walking and sniffing new smells in the backyard with her mom & dad, playing on the floor with her dad, snuggling and getting tummy rubs on the couch with her parents, and of course getting treats. Her favorite treats were the Fruitables soft treats.

She didn’t like most toys because she’d never played until her family rescued her, but she did love when her dad would get on the floor with her and help her catch and tug on her bandanas that her groomers put on her after grooming.

She loved to sleep anywhere her mom and dad were sitting or working. Her official bed was by her mom’s side of the bed.

Their favorite memories over the years with their sweet Emma are all the things that she learned to do and enjoy during the years that she grew into being a “real dog” with them after her start of abuse and neglect.  She came with a broken spirit and heart, but she left them knowing real love and trust as a part of their small family.  They are so proud of her and miss her terribly.

Left to cherish her memory are her Mom and Dad, Molly and Leon.
