Halley Montague

Halley was born May 13, 2012 in Summerville, SC. She passed away January 10, 2023.

Halley loved laying in the sunshine, riding the golfcart, and hanging out with Dad. Her favorite place to sleep beside her daddy and her favorite food was EVERYTHING. Her favorite thing to play with was any kind of bone.

Halley was loyal to her dad for 12 years and she will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memory is her Dad, Bert; and siblings, Ruby.

  1. Heaven is filled with love, so Halley will feel right at home. There is a new star in the sky. And when we look upon it, we will remember the love, not the loss.

  5. Halley girl, you just don’t know how much you were loved! You did such a great job taking care of your daddy! You always put a smile on everybody’s face! You always loved your walks, golfcart rides, and eating. I always got tickled at you for begging your daddy for human food because you knew he would give in to you! The 4 years I was with you, you molded a piece of yourself in my heart forever! You will never be forgotten. I love you and miss you. I am glad you are now in heaven running around while not being in pain anymore and eating all the prime rib you want. Until we meet again sweet girl!

    1. There is so much to say about a dog born with Comet Dust. She was my heart. There was no better feeling in the world and being smothered in her sweet kisses. She opened hearts and doors everywhere she went and she was a profound judge of character. If she sensed that someone had less than good intentions, she would let them know not to mess with Mr. Bert; she would never let anything bad happen to him. She also had so much intuition and intelligence. She learned advanced skills like assisting to help someone remove a coat or jacket as well as opening and closing doors on command. She learned them quickly and never forgot. I know when she crossed the bridge, God was there saying “ well done my good and faithful servant, Sweet Miss Halley”. You can rest peacefully now knowing taught Ruby well. Love you forever 🐾🐾❤️
