Polo Bennett

Polo was gotcha’d February 1, 2005 in Mesa, AZ from Friends For Life. He was two years old at the time and a part of his family’s life for the next 17 years.

Polo was a calm cat and loved to snuggle; even with their dog, Sassafras. He always knew when you were upset and gave the perfect amount of snuggles to make everything all better.

He loved catnip and his bow ties, enjoyed sleeping in his bed in front of the window in the warm sun, or a welcoming lap. His favorite snacks were treats or any kind of seafood.

They had many memories of him but their favorites were that Polo seemed to think the best time to eat was when everyone went to bed. If he could see any part of the bottom of his bowl he’d meow loudly until someone got out of bed to fill it. He was an escape artist a couple times. Once was in the attic. Everyone always complimented how handsome and calm Polo is and offered to take him home. He had a stubborn side as well. Even so he was determined to celebrate his 19th birthday. A very good cat and family member.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Richard and Maria; siblings, Avary (Owner) and Jakeb.
