Otis Williams

Otis was born August 11, 2015. He passed away April 27, 2024.

Otis, also known as “Odie” or “O”, loved sleeping, riding on the golf cart with his dad, or just going anywhere with his dad. His favorite place to sleep was under his dad’s desk at work, on the bed next to dad, or anywhere where everyone was so they could enjoy his snoring!

Otis wasn’t big on playing with toys, he just wanted all the snacks! He had a bit of a sweet tooth, so he loved blueberry muffins, candy bars, and vanilla wafers. Some of his other top favorites were rotisserie chicken and dad’s last bite of anything, always.

The amount of memories Otis’ family had with him could fill a book, but some of their favorites were when he met his new mom and sister, meeting his little sister when they brought her home from the hospital, going to the beach, trips to the mountains, going to Fireflies games with his mom and dad, going to Jaycee’s meetings with his dad, spending time with grandma and grandad, “working” at the shop and getting to meet all of the nice people, daily golf cart rides with the family, him getting a new bed every Christmas, weekly visits and baths with Aunt Megan and Paige, him chasing his papa around and then getting his daily treat after, taking and picking up his baby sister from school, getting treats from all of the drive thru’s, fighting with the vacuum, celebrating his birthday every year, but his last one was extra special, sleeping under his dad’s desk at work so that he could be close to him. The memories are endless.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert Tyee Williams, Carah Randall, Vickie Williams, Rick Williams, Megan Nelson, and Lee Westbury; and siblings, Lennon Williams, Lorelei Harre, Aly, Emmie Johnson, McKenna Williams, Trevor Williams, and Paige Nelson.

He was the best dog anybody could ever have. I remember when we had him at my house and on a hot day we would just sit together and just lay out. He had a lot of heart problems and that did mess with him, and I hope he is doing better in heaven and I will never forget him. When I would go to our store my favorite part was seeing Otis he was always snorting and I loved that because that means he is very happy. I loved getting to know him and make some memories with him. When I was done with my food and I had leftovers I would give him some and he was so happy. Ours loved going on golf cart rides and feeling the breeze. When anybody would see him they would immediately recognize him and give him lots of love.
