In Loving Memory of Uno Tanner
Gotcha Day: March 10, 2025 — April 27, 2026
Uno Tanner, lovingly known as “Uno Kitty Kitty,” was a playful, affectionate soul whose big personality and loving heart made every moment unforgettable.
Adopted from the Darlington County Humane Society, Uno quickly became a cherished part of the family of Charity and Dylan, bringing joy to his four human siblings and two pet siblings. He also shared a special bond with his kitty brother Vincent, who passed in 2025 — a friendship filled with play, love, and companionship that left a lasting imprint on his heart.

Uno was full of energy and personality — true orange cat energy at its finest. He loved chasing balls, knocking anything in sight just to create one, and turning everyday moments into playful adventures. But just as much as he loved to play, he adored snuggling up on the couch with his humans, soaking in every bit of love he could get.
His favorite place to sleep was anywhere cozy — especially on soft blankets where he could curl up comfortably or stretch out and make biscuits like he owned the place. And when it came to food, Uno had quite the taste — loving catnip, tuna, and especially sneaking cheese from his human siblings’ sandwiches whenever he got the chance.
Some of the most treasured memories of Uno include his sweet snuggles with the family — even cuddling close while mom was pregnant — his playful antics, and the way he would keep everyone laughing. He loved playing hide and seek with Vincent, and after Vincent passed, Uno seemed to slow down a bit, carrying a softer, more relaxed spirit while still sharing his love in his own special way.

Uno wasn’t just a pet — he was a source of comfort, laughter, and love. His presence filled the home, and his absence leaves a space that can never be replaced.
Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave will last forever.
Run free, sweet Uno Kitty Kitty. You were so deeply loved and will always be missed. 🐾🤍
