Lance Page

In Loving Memory of Lance Page
Gotcha Day: December 26, 2019 — May 8, 2026

Lance Page, lovingly known as Dooda, was a faithful, loving companion whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and unconditional love to his family every single day.

Adopted from the Peninsula SPCA Animal Shelter in Newport News, Virginia, Lance’s story began with a moment that felt destined from the start. As Miracle looked at several dogs that day, there was just something special about Lance. He calmly came to the front of his kennel, sat patiently, and looked directly at her — almost as if he already knew she was meant to be his mom. From that moment on, it truly was a match made in Heaven.

Lance became a deeply cherished part of the lives of LaVerne and Miracle Page, along with his sibling Jaylei Page. He wasn’t just a pet — he was family, a best friend, and a source of comfort through life’s ups and downs.

In his younger days, Lance enjoyed running and playing fetch with sticks, but as the years passed, he became much more focused on one of his greatest loves in life — eating! Whether it was T-Bone steak, popsicles, or anything Mommy cooked, Lance was always ready for a good meal with excitement and appreciation.

He had a stubborn little streak too, especially when he was younger and claimed the couch as his own. But as time went on, his favorite place to be was simply at the feet of the people he loved most, close enough to feel safe and connected.

Lance brought tremendous joy into his family’s life. He and Miracle shared a bond that was truly special — one built on loyalty, comfort, and unconditional love. He was there through everything, offering quiet companionship and a heart that never wavered.

Though his passing leaves an ache that words cannot fully ease, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain forever.

Run free, sweet Dooda. Thank you for every moment, every comfort, and every bit of love you gave. You will always be cherished and never forgotten. 🐾🤍
