In Loving Memory of Alphie Tiernan

Alphie Tiernan, lovingly known as “Alphanator,” was a gentle, loyal boy whose love for his family was as constant as it was unconditional. He brought comfort, laughter, and endless joy into the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him.
Born in Madison, Alabama, Alphie was deeply loved by his parents, Ricky and Christine Tiernan, and shared his life with his siblings James, Jenna, Adrian, Quincy, Chips, JJ, and Peanut Butter. To them, he wasn’t just a dog — he was family, a best friend, and a steady source of love through every season of life.
Alphie had the sweetest personality and found happiness in the simple things. He loved squeaky toys, crinkly toys, and spending time outside — especially if his daddy was there. Truthfully, Alphie didn’t care much what they were doing as long as he was beside Ricky. Their bond was something truly special.
Every night, Alphie’s favorite place to sleep was tucked into the crook of his daddy’s arm, safe and content exactly where he belonged. He adored treats of every kind — chicken nuggies, popcorn, sunflower seeds he could somehow shell himself, bacon treats, and of course, anything Daddy happened to be eating.
Some of the family’s favorite memories come from Alphie’s younger years and the funny little habits that made him unforgettable. He absolutely hated socks and would run over to pull them right off anyone’s feet. He also knew the sound of Ricky’s car so well that the second he turned onto the road, Alphie would begin barking excitedly, ready to welcome his daddy home as if they’d been apart forever.
And somehow, Alphie always knew when someone said the word “bacon.” Even if the family tried spelling it out, he still figured it out every single time.
Everyone who met Alphie loved him. He had a calm, loving spirit and a gentle nature that made people instantly feel at ease. He loved affection, loved being close to his family, and gave his heart completely to the people around him.
Though his passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, the love, laughter, and memories Alphie created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
Run free, sweet Alphanator. Thank you for every cuddle, every laugh, and every moment of unconditional love. You will always be missed and forever cherished. 🐾🤍
