Rocky Green

In Loving Memory of Rocky Green
January 21, 2016 – June 29, 2026

With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved Rocky Green, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 29, 2026.

Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on January 21, 2016, Rocky came into our lives as a special gift for Marcus’s 7th birthday, as a service dog. From that day forward, he became much more than a pet—he became family. He was lovingly cared for by his pet parents, Kevin and NaToya Green, and adored by his human siblings, Marcus, Kevon, and Kevyn. He also shared his home with his pet siblings, Jamaia and Nora.

Affectionately known simply as “Rocky” and lovingly called “Rock Rock,” he was truly an amazing dog and a big, giant teddy bear. His gentle spirit and loving heart made him everyone’s best friend. Rocky loved fetching balls and playing with his toys, but his favorite place was wherever his family was. He enjoyed being right up under his loved ones, offering comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

Every morning, Rocky faithfully waited for Marcus’s school bus, making sure his boy was safely on his way. He took great pride in serving and protecting his family, always watching over the ones he loved. At night, he could always be found sleeping peacefully on Mom’s side of the bed, his favorite spot.

Rocky enjoyed his raw diet and loved traveling with his family, making memories as they journeyed from state to state together. No matter where life took them, Rocky was happiest simply being by their side.

Rocky leaves behind paw prints on our hearts that can never be erased. His loyalty, gentle nature, and unwavering love made him an irreplaceable member of the Green family. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are forever grateful for the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.

Rocky Green was amazing. We love our four-legged fur baby and always will.

We love you, Rock Rock. Run free until we meet again.

You’re gonna be missed you big baby and I’m so glad we had you around as long as we did 🥰. It won’t be the same coming over and you’re not there to jump your big behind on me almost knocking me down or coming over sniffing everything in my house to make sure we were good. Love you much Rocky and will miss you always 🫶🏽.
