With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lady, affectionately known as Lady Lou, on June 25, 2026.
Lady joined her forever family when she was adopted in 2018 in La Porte, Indiana. From the very beginning, she filled her home and the heart of her loving pet parent, Janet Dignam, with unconditional love, companionship, and joy.
Lady was a creature of simple pleasures. She loved taking her daily walks around the perimeter of the yard, faithfully making her rounds and keeping an eye on everything she considered home. When it was time to rest, she could often be found comfortably stretched out on the cool kitchen floor.
One of the memories that will be cherished most is the excitement Lady showed whenever someone pulled into the driveway. She would eagerly look out the window, her tail wagging and her eyes bright with anticipation, always ready to welcome family and friends with her loving spirit.
Lady Lou’s gentle presence, loyal heart, and joyful greetings brought happiness to all who knew her. Though she is no longer by our side, the love and memories she gave will remain forever in our hearts.
Run free, sweet Lady Lou. You were deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
