In Loving Memory of Marley Bullock
April 10, 2020 — July 5, 2026
Marley Bullock, lovingly known as Marley Bug, Mar Mar, and Marvin, was a sweet, goofy, and affectionate soul who brought endless joy to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Born on April 10, 2020, Marley came into the world at home through his late grandmother’s beloved cat. From the very beginning, he was surrounded by love, and that love only grew throughout his beautiful life. He was deeply cherished by his parents, Cyra and Caleb Bullock, and shared his home with his siblings Jimmy Dean, Nico, and Hoss.
Marley found happiness in the simplest things. A plain cardboard box could entertain him for hours, and he proudly “operated the bakery” every day, making biscuits on any soft blanket he could find. He loved napping, eating his favorite Bonkers treats, and never missed an opportunity to sprint outside whenever a door opened, eager for another little adventure. His favorite place to rest was curled up on a blanket beside Mommy, where he felt safe, loved, and perfectly content.
Marley left behind countless memories that will forever be treasured. Friends and family each carried a favorite story that perfectly captured his unique personality.
Starr will never forget the day Marley confidently knocked over a Lego masterpiece Caleb had spent days building, scattering it into pieces without a second thought.
Amber remembers caring for Marley when he was sick and how, even then, he remained the sweetest little love bug, always asking for cuddles.
Laura loved how Marley would settle into her lap just like Garfield, making himself completely at home.
Anthony always enjoyed taking funny pictures of Marley using silly filters, capturing his expressive face and playful personality.
For Daddy, some of the best moments were taking Marley outside to explore the yard, where his curiosity and love for nature were impossible to miss.
But perhaps no one carries more cherished memories than Mommy. She watched Marley come into the world, saw his tiny eyes open for the very first time, and grew alongside him through some of life’s biggest milestones—college, a first apartment, heartbreaks, celebrations, and everything in between. Marley was there through it all. He was also his great-grandma’s favorite little kitty, and sharing photos and visits with her became memories that now mean even more.
Marley wasn’t just a pet—he was family, a constant source of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. His pawprints remain on every chapter of the lives he touched, and though he is deeply missed, the love he gave will never fade.
Run free, sweet Marley Bug. May there always be sunny fields to explore, cozy blankets for biscuit-making, endless boxes to play in, and all the Bonkers treats your heart desires. Thank you for every cuddle, every laugh, and every precious memory. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of our hearts. 🐾🤍🐱
