Madison Rushing

In Loving Memory of Madison Rushing

June 6, 2010 — August 18, 2026

Madison Rushing, lovingly known as Boobee, was a devoted companion whose beautiful life was filled with adventure, loyalty, and an incredible amount of love. Born in Lancaster, South Carolina, Madison spent 16 wonderful years by the side of her human mom, Jacquelyn Rushing, becoming her constant companion and a treasured part of her heart.

Madison shared a special friendship with Sugg and Baretta and had a playful love for shoes and socks. But her greatest adventure was traveling. If the car was moving, Madison wanted to be in it! She was even the perfect little traveler on airplane rides, happily accompanying her mom wherever life took them.

At the end of an adventure, Madison’s favorite place to sleep was anywhere she could be close to Jacquelyn. When it came to food, just about anything was delicious—as long as it wasn’t her own pet food!

Of all the memories Jacquelyn holds close, her favorite isn’t just one moment—it’s the 16 years they shared together. Sixteen years of trips, quiet moments, companionship, and having Boobee faithfully by her side. Madison wasn’t simply there for part of Jacquelyn’s life; she was woven into it.

Madison crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 18, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of precious memories and a love that will never be forgotten.

She was truly loved. Forever missed. Forever Jacquelyn’s Boobee. 🐾🤍

  1. After knowing Big Sis Jackie over a 50 year life span from our days in Buffalo, New York, I finally had the chance to personally meet Madison (Maddie Cake) when Jackie came and brought her fur baby to visit me in California at the end of 2024 until June of 2025. Madison was such a very sweet and precious little fur baby during their visit with me. During those months of spending enjoyable times with Madison she was very loved and pampered which was well deserved because she always had such a beautiful and calming little spirit.

I was looking forward of Maddie Cake visiting me with her Mommy again. Jackie, my heart and condolences goes out to you knowing what you’re feeling right now about your little companion who always loved you unconditionally. But remember this, she is patiently waiting at the end of the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge to see you again! Rest in Peace Madison! 🦮🌈🙏🏾 Luv you both from your little Sis Tonya G.

  2. I met Madison in New Jersey this past May 2026. She was special and I am sorry she is no longer walking around and communicating with humans. She was mild mannered, well behaved, and Cousin Jackie’s best friend. I am glad Madison made it safely on her road trip travels back down South before she passed. Cousin Jackie be strong in dealing with Madison’s absence. She walked miles and miles with you. She did her effective job as a service animal. She wants you to remember every single step you have ever taken together. Now as an ancestor Madison continues to spiritually walk around you. Love, Cousin Chyrel West
