Marly Mae Spinks, lovingly known as Shady Baby Marmalady, was a sweet and unforgettable girl who brought so much love, laughter, and personality into her family’s lives. Born in 2013, Marly found her forever family in Florence, South Carolina, on July 24, 2018, when she was welcomed home by her parents, Tiffany and David.
Marly was surrounded by a big family who adored her, including Tallie Ann, Jesse, Robbie, Jace, Ella Reece, Kenzie Claire, Claira Grace, Bryley Noel, and Oakley Granger. She loved her Fish and Reinbeer toys, happily squeaking her chew toys, soaking up the sunshine, and—perhaps most of all—sleeping.
Her favorite places to rest were stretched out in a warm sunbeam, curled up with Ella, or cozy in front of the fireplace. And when it came to a special treat, nothing made Marly happier than a pup cup.
One memory that will always bring a smile is taking Marly to Soda City, where she decided walking simply wasn’t for her. She refused to go any farther and ended up enjoying the outing from the comfort of a stroller—a perfectly Marly moment that captured the personality her family loved so much.
Marly Mae filled her home with warmth, companionship, and memories that will be treasured forever. Though her favorite sunny spots may now feel a little emptier, her family will always carry their Shady Baby Marmalady close to their hearts.
