Gracie Brown

In Loving Memory of Gracie Brown

Approximately 2014 — September 14, 2026

Gracie Brown, lovingly known as Pumpkin, was a gentle and devoted girl who truly earned the title of the best dog. Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Gracie found her forever family on October 18, 2016, when she was rescued at approximately two and a half years old. From that day forward, she became a deeply loved part of Allen McKnight and Cathy Brown’s family.

Gracie shared her life with her fur sister, Maggie Mae, and she was the absolute best big sister to her. She had a sweet, loving nature and brought a sense of comfort and companionship to everyone around her.

Pumpkin enjoyed her ropes and stuffies, loved going for car rides, and was always happy to settle in for a good nap. She especially loved back rubs and, of course, her favorite treat—cheese slices.

But Gracie’s favorite place was wherever she could be close to her daddy. When it was time to rest, she would lie on the floor right beside where he was laying, content simply knowing she was near him.

There are so many things Allen and Cathy will miss about their Pumpkin—her car rides, her love for Maggie Mae, her quiet companionship, and the comfort of simply having her there. Gracie wasn’t just a good dog. To her family, she was the BEST, and the love she gave them will never be forgotten.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever their sweet Pumpkin. 🐾🤍
